Hyper Automation

Hyper Automation is a term coined by Dr. David R. Hawkins, author of Power vs Force. He defines hyper-automation technology as “the use of automated processes that would otherwise require human intervention”. In his book, he goes on to explain how humans have been using Hyper Automation Technology technology to automate tasks since the beginning of time. However, what we are seeing now is the emergence of a new type of technology that can do things that were previously thought impossible.

Hyper Automation in manufacturing

Hyper automation is the automation of machines that have been design to perform repetitive tasks. These tasks are often perform at high speeds and require little human intervention. In manufacturing, hyper-automation technology is commonly implemented in the production line. A typical example of hyper-automation would be a conveyor belt where items are automatically fed into the machine and then moved along until they reach their final destination.

Hyper Automation

Hyper-Automation benefits

Hyper automation is a term that was coined by John Lee Dumas in his book “The Entrepreneur”. He defines hyper-automation as the automation of tasks that would normally require human intervention. Hyper automation is not only about automating repetitive tasks, but also about automating complex processes. In short, hyper-automation is the act of taking a task that requires human interaction and making it automated.

In my opinion, hyper-automation can be applied to any industry. I believe that hyper-automation applies to many industries including agriculture, construction, manufacturing, etc. However, I think that the best application of hyper-automation is in the cannabis industry. Why? Because the cannabis industry is unique in its way. Cannabis is a highly regulated industry where everything from seed to sale is tracked and documented. As a result, the cannabis industry is ripe for automation. Let me explain how.

As a result of the above, the cannabis industry is unique. There are no real competitors in the market. If you want to sell cannabis, you need to get licensed and become a legal producer. There is no competition in the cannabis industry. You cannot go out and buy a bag of marijuana from someone else. All of the production happens inside a facility. As a result, there is no risk involved in producing cannabis.

This means that the cannabis industry is ripe to automate. Now, let’s take a closer look at some of the benefits of using hyper-automation in the cannabis industry.

 Increased Productivity hyper-automation

One of the biggest challenges facing the cannabis industry is the lack of labor. According to a report published by Bright field Group, the cannabis industry currently employs over 100,000 workers. That number is expected to increase to over 200,000 by 2020. Unfortunately, the cannabis industry does not employ enough people to meet demand. As a result, growers are force to work long hours just to keep up with demand.

If you were to apply hyper-automation to the cannabis industry, you could significantly reduce the amount of time that employees spend working. By automating certain aspects of the cultivation process, you could free up the workforce to focus on higher-value activities. For example, if you had a machine that automatically watered your plants, you could eliminate the need for human watering. This would allow you to hire additional staff to focus on things like marketing, sales, and customer service.

 Reduced Costs Hyper-Automation

Another benefit of apply hyper-automation to cannabis is reduce costs. One of the reasons that the cannabis industry struggles to find qualified employees is the low pay. A recent study conducted by Bright field Group revealed that the average salary for a cannabis worker is $15 per hour. This is much lower than the national average wage of $25 per hour.

By automating certain parts of the cannabis industry, you can drastically reduce the cost of hiring employees. For example, if your company uses a machine to water your plants, you can save money by eliminating the need for human watering services. This would allow you the opportunity to cut back on employee wages.

Improved Quality hyper-automation

Finally, another benefit of apply hyper-automation to the cannabis industry is improve quality. The cannabis industry is notorious for being plag by poor quality. This is because the cannabis industry lacks skilled labor. As a result, many growers end up relying on inexperienced workers who lack the knowledge necessary to properly cultivate cannabis.

However, if you were to implement hyper-automation, you could dramatically improve the quality of your products. For example, if a machine were to monitor the temperature of your grows room, you could ensure that your plants receive the proper amount of sunlight. This would help you avoid situations where your plants are exposed to extreme temperatures.
