Kalabhavan Shajon is the actor who came to silver screen from Mimicry field. He had become popular at first doing many comedy characters here in Mollywood and then surprised us all with his amazing performance in the movie named Drishyam in which he played the negative character opposite none other than Mohanlal. Then he had done many blockbuster films like Oppam and Munthiri Vallikal Thalirkkumbol with Mohanlal and played many important characters as well. This time he had come up with a movie named Pareeth Pandari, in which he had played the title character. Debutant named Gafoor Elliyas had written and directed this movie.

Pareeth is living in a coastal village named Thangalangadi and he is 60 years old. He has a wife and 3 daughters and the elder daughter is 30 years old. She is still unmarried and Pareeth is very sad about the situation. Financial problems are the main reason for that and the film showcases the unexpected incidents that happens in Pareeth’s life.

The main attraction of this movie is the performance of Kalabhavan Shajon as Pareeth Pandari. He had become the character in his look, body language and each and every movement of his was perfect. His performance was amazing and it was he who had become the backbone of this movie. Other artists like Sajitha Madathil, Ansiba, Anil Murali, Jaffer Idukki, Sunil Sugatha, Resmi, Joy Mathew etc also done very well playing their characters perfectly. James Vasanthan, the popular Tamil music director had tuned the music for this movie and the DOP of this flick was Faizal. Both of them had done a very good job in this flick and Ratheesh Mohan’s editing was also good. Belli Raj and Shybin had jointly produced this flick under the banner of Chennai Film Factory. It seems that great recognitions are coming for Kalabhavan Shajon through his performance in it. It is an engaging class entertainer which tells the story in an intense and heart touching manner. You can watch it with your family and you will be satisfied for sure.
