This has been a superb one from Lijo Jose Pellisserry and his best after Amen. This time he had set everything right by giving a brilliant realistic entertainer and now we all can forget the Double Barrel disaster which he suffered 2 years back. The skill of a master craftsman was evident in each and every frame of this movie and specially, Lijo Jose had given his best in the climax portion of this movie. It was energetic, realistic and intense. The way he handled the pace of the movie and the way he controlled the narration was just stunning. Chemban Vinod had provided a screenplay with intensity, realism, convincing situations, and a bunch of characters with an identity of their own. The dialogues were in local slang and the one liners were superb as well.
What really surprised was that the performance we got from the newcomers. All of them were pretty convincing and gave an intense performance. In dialogue deliver and body language, they just made everyone convinced that they are the local boys. Antony Varghese had really impressed with his matured performance and other like Ullas, Sinoj, Benny, Reshma, Milton, Sarath Kumar, Naveen, Vineeth, Sandeep etc did a fine job as their characters.
DOP of this movie had done by Gireesh Gangadharan and he had given one of his best work through this movie. It was just fabulous. Music from Prashant Pillai was cool and Shameer Muhammad never let the pace of the movie down, as he was in full form with his crisp and sharp edits.
